After a rainy day I often take my camera and I take a walk on the streets/squares of my city: I like to take photos of reflections from puddles. To achieve a good result I use a wide angle lensand I put the camera at ground level ( better if the camera has a tilting display )… but it’s not enough! To obtain a different picture ( from other millions of the same type ) we need some fantasy : in my example a friend that helped me to have a drop in the puddle….
With a “little” detail
I think that the second one is better…do you agree?

I found a new kind of photograph: aerial photography. Of course I have seen a lot of that genre of photos, but I have never practiced it. But now I have a drone…and so…go ahead to discover this new universe!!
As a first step I’I started to looking for geometric figures ( and not landscape at now ):
..in effect..I didn’t follow that guy..because he was sat down at the corner. We can say that I followed his behavior: he was in the backlight, he was smoking…and there were lines of light toward him: a very good photographic scene.
So I took my little Sony RX100M3 ( a very little, but powerful camera ) and I waited for the right moment: a little smoke from his mouth.. here is a good photo: a profile made of light, geometric lines…and a little point of interest: the smoke.
Other important notes: only in the morning there is this type of light..the sun is low on the horizon ( so we have long shadows ) … there are few people on the street..I had a little camera so the subject didn’t notice me 🙂 🙂
I like photographs where there are likeness, not only in a direct way but also in different conjugations. You know that I’m stingy with words…so a picture is worth a thousand words….so please see the following examples 🙂 In this pictures the likeness & similarities are clear: I insert some highlightsto indicate what captured my attention.
I have always my camera with me…so, when I saw this pretty girl, I asked her to pose for me. She was reading a book and I liked the light on her face ( the light was reflected by the white pages of the book ).
I hope to be in time to partecipate to the weekly photo challenge Graceful 🙂 🙂
